Bellows vacuum cups can be referred to as the “accordions” amongst the vacuum cups. They adapt themselves, in a flexible manner, to the surface and are therefore particularly suitable for very light and sensitive materials with uneven surfaces such as, for example, films, paper and special packages.

The bellows fold together in a flexible manner when using suction to pick up the work piece and then again away from each other. In this way they facilitate level compensation so that parts at different heights can be lifted by it.

HUK/FIPA bellows-type cups should be chosen if a vertical stroke is needed to make up for height differences or irregularities on the workpiece. However, bellows cups only have a limited vertical motion range.
